MARK's

Road Disc

Mark wanted a fast road bike and was struggling to find anything off the peg in hie size that really ticked all the boxes.

His brief was for a modern road bike with minimal aesthetic so we decided to use Columbus LIFE tubesets with discs and clean lines. When we designed the frame we wanted to make the frame future proof so we opted for a set of modular cable ports to allow Mark to use any type of groupset going forward.

Now Mark is TALL! and his bike is a C-C 64cm.

When we first started chatting about a custom frame we both ended up going off on a tangent about the MTBs we had loved in the 90's so it only seemed fitting to come up with a paint scheme that was an ode to that era of bikes.

Mark and I worked on the paint scheme for a couple of months until we settled on a mash up of our favourite old Kona and Yeti paint.

Combined with the purple anodised parts the bike has a real  classic MTB vibe.

We selected all of the components to suit Marks height and riding style. Chris King hubs and headset built into some DTSwiss rims and Deda finishing kit.
