David had the idea for his ultimate bike following a fitting session with me at the Velo Atelier Bicycle Studio.

His brief was for a modern road bike with minimal aesthetic so we drew up a columbus Life frame with discs, Di2 ports and clean lines through integrating the headset and using a carbon bar stem cockpit.

The colour he brought to us for his ultimate ride was a cherry black candy with Black graphics.

I have to say I was worried when the candy came out of the gun that it was going to be too dark but as soon as the clear coat went on it was obvious that this was something special.

You only have to see this bike in sunshine to fully understand how breathtaking this frame looks.
