We had fitted Peter for a couple of years at our studio Velo Atelier, and when his carbon production bike had reached the end of its life he decided to commission us to make a custom frame that would fit him perfectly.

Peter wanted something modern and light with some aerodynamic credentials so I delved into the tubing spec lists to find the right blend of material  thickness, butt lengths and shapes to create the perfect mix of aero-comfort-performance.

I used a T47 BB to allow a strong junction for the large kamm-tail down tube and provide plenty of space for the Di2 cabling.

Peter and I worked hard on the colour scheme, with the Pinterest mood board growing pretty extensively, but I think the hard work was well worth it.
