Sara came to see us in the Velo Atelier Bike Studio a while back for a for some adjustments to her position whilst she was recovering from injury. Whilst we were able to make her comfortable on her existing bike the desire for a new bike was  burning and when we discussed the option of having something very special built for her, the path was set.

We wanted a lightweight road bike with Di2 and discs to make the braking as easy as possible. With this in mind I opted for a Columbus Life and Spirit blend of tubing to keep the weight down and the stiffness in all the right places.

We added a T47 BB to enable the cabling to be all internal to maintain a super clean an minimal aesthetic.

After much deliberation Sara chose the subtle shade of pink, which was inspired by something very dear to her.

We continued the minimal look by waiving any graphics except a head badge and keeping every other component black to really make the frameset stand out.
